This is EP has a ska vibe. It features Neville Staple (The Specials) who actually came down to the studio to record vocals on Track 1 and 3 on his birthday! the EP also features Dave Swift on bass from the Jools Holland R&B orchestra. The EP was titled El Reco to pay homage to the great trombonist Rico Rodriquez who started his career with The Specials alongside Neville and ended his career in Jools Holland's big band alongside Dave Swift. Rico was affectionately known as El Reco to his close friends allegedly - hence the name of the EP. All the artwork for this EP was mine. If you look closely you can see my image in the trombone!
